My works are a journey of many, many layers. I ultimately strive to achieve a perceived quiet and calm however, built within that is depth and movement where the complexities of textures, bold strokes, and mark making lay just beneath the surface. In The Depths and its companion piece, Submerged, reflect the impression of being tumbled in the surf and surveying the churning, swirling sea overhead. What would you see from beneath the surface?
Acrylic, charcoal, oil pastels, texture medium, and archival matte varnish on 24×36x2.5" museum-wrapped canvas. Artwork is ready to hang, canvas edges are clean and dressed in white.
Shipping in the continental US included in pricing (please contact me for shipping quotes outside of the U.S. prior to purchasing). An additional $19.00 is charged per order to cover the costs of packaging materials + safe handling of your artwork.
*Please note: great care is taken to represent colors as accurately as possible, however, all monitors/screens display colors differently, please keep in mind your piece(s) may differ slightly from what is viewed on your screen.
