WHISPERS IN THE MIST

This curated collection of images from The Muted Sea, explores the ephemeral and transformative power of atmosphere. Silent and subdued observations along the coastline of Georgia’s barrier islands are seen and experienced in a way not often portrayed: in the biting chill of winter air and dense, enveloping fog, devoid of flocking beachgoers. Here, a great hush fell over the landscape and the sea was reduced to a gentle whisper. At this time and in this place, the world felt so much smaller, softer, gentler.
