My coastal explorations in the tidal marshes supply endless amounts of inspiration. Here, spent blades of marsh grass retire into the tea-like, tannin-stained waters and become gentle, sinuous ribbons gliding just beneath the water's surface. They take on another life, becoming elegant aquatic creatures partaking in a graceful ballet choreographed by the gentle movement of the tides.
